GENERAL:
Maximum overall car width: 3.250”
Minimum car height roof (measured from track surface): 1.4375”
Minimum car hood height: .785 from the track lock to the hood at the center line of the front wheels.
Minimum chassis clearance from rear of car only (measured from track surface): .0625

Only commercially made 4” stamped “flexi” chassis are allowed

Only the original-manufacturer’s lightweight parts may be used, such as aluminum pans or factory-produced light gauge steel pans and center sections. Lightening or modifying of chassis by cutting, or grinding, filing, chemical etching or any other method is forbidden. No “Box Stock,” “Eurosport,” with perimeter laser-cut or EDM-cut chassis or “Group” car chasis are allowed. Scratchbuilt chassis are prohibited.

Original chassis hinges and stops must be used. Lead weight may be added. Chassis may be reinforced. Motor may be soldered in place and braced. No modifications my be made to the chassis accept where motor is mounted. Plating may be removed from chassis in areas to be soldered. Lead-wire retainer can be used. Pin-tube body mounts are permitted.

Racers will not be allowed to change any chassis parts under any circumstances after the cars has been teched. Once a car has been teched, it may not be switched or replaced by another car. Body chassis may not be changed.

MOTOR:
Super 16D cans and magnets. D Cans only. Inside Can dimensions are height 0.600 inch, width 0.875 inch and length 0.950 inch. Minimum dimensions for the magnets are height 0.580 inch, length 0.650 inch and thickness 0.150 inch. Oilite may be soldered to the can.

Any Super 16D style arm like those from Parma, Mura, RJR, Proslot, etc..
The industry standard minimum stack length is 0.490 inch and minimum diameter 0.520 inch, wound with 60 turns of 28 gauge wire. Arm also must be tagged.

Armature spacers may be added or removed, armature may be re-trued and rebalanced.

Any motor brushes and springs are allowed. No cut motor brushes.

Cooling or inspection holes may be added to the end bell.
New holes may be drilled for holding the end bell to the can, and screws holding the can to the end bell may be replaced or added.

Magnets may be glued into position and may be shimmed, but original magnet retaining clips must be retained. Magnets may be zapped but not honed or polished.

The can or magnets may not be modified for axle clearance, but the oilite may be notched to provide proper gear and/or chassis clearance.

Endbell hardware can be changed to any manufacturer but must be horizontal.

It is the responsibility of the manufacturers to make sure that these minimum dimensions are maintained, but racers are ultimately responsible for ensuring that their equipment is legal.
